Switch medication from bupropion to agomelatine.
Stop bupropion
- Before day 1: gradually reduce dosage of bupropion to a maximum of 300 mg/day, when this dosage is > 300 mg/day.
- Day 1: reduce dosage of bupropion to 150 mg/day.
- Day 8: stop administration of bupropion.
Start agomelatine
- Day 1: simultaneously start administration of agomelatine in a dosage of 25 mg/day.[1]
- Day 8: only continue administration of agomelatine. If necessary, increase dosage of agomelatine to 50 mg/day.
